1 · Tiny Matter
2 · iCloud Sync
Daily uses a private CloudKit database. Other Daily users cannot see your records, and Daily does not expose a manual sync switch that could accidentally split your data across devices.
3 · Calendar
See selected calendar events alongside your tasks. Events stay on this device and are shown only as context for the selected day.
4 · Prayer times · Location
Your current location is used to calculate optional Islamic prayer times on your device. Your coordinates are rounded and stored only in local app preferences. They are not added to CloudKit.
5 · Cycle tracking · Apple Health
Daily requests read-only access to menstrual flow, sleep, resting heart rate, and sleeping wrist temperature. You choose each type in Apple's permission sheet.
Imported Apple Health samples stay in memory and are never copied into Daily's files or CloudKit. Apple Health data is not changed.
Manual cycle entries are stored only in a protected, backup-excluded file on this device.
Cycle estimates can be wrong. Do not use Daily for contraception, conception timing, pregnancy decisions, or diagnosis.
6 · Notifications
Notification delivery, sounds, badges, Focus filters and alert style are controlled by iOS.
7 · Backup & restore
Backups are versioned JSON files you own. Import merges by stable identifier and never duplicates existing records.
8 · App Store · Restore Purchases
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
9 · Privacy & Permissions
Reset Daily to its defaults and delete your tasks, reflections, tracking history, reminders, and synced iCloud records.
Calendar, location, Health and notification access are requested only for the features that need them. You can change system permissions at any time.
