Tiny Sudoku · Privacy · Updated 16 October 2026
Your puzzles. Your space.
This policy covers Tiny Sudoku for iPhone and iPad, support correspondence, and the services used by the app. Tiny Sudoku is preparing for its public release. Advertising and purchase availability depend on the released version and configuration.
1. Who is responsible?
Murat Yilmaz · Tiny MatterWestliche-KF 202

Privacy questions and rights requests: hello@tinymatter.studio. App help: support@tinymatter.studio.
2. Puzzles and progress on your device
Tiny Sudoku stores puzzle boards, entered numbers, notes, elapsed play time, completion history, daily streaks, lesson progress, preferences, and purchase-entitlement state locally to provide and save the game. It does not send your saved boards or pencil notes to a Tiny Matter account or server. No Tiny Matter account is required.
Puzzle-save synchronization through iCloud is not implemented. Ordinary device backups may be handled by Apple under your device settings. Removing the app may remove local progress. Recovery copies of unreadable saves may remain in the app’s local storage so that damaged data is not silently overwritten.
3. Apple Game Center
If you sign in to Game Center, the app sends supported leaderboard scores and achievement progress to Apple and reads rankings and achievement state. Player identifiers, display names, ranks, and scores are used to show those features and associate progress with the signed-in player. Game Center does not upload the saved Sudoku boards.
Apple controls Game Center account data and sharing. Your nickname and scores may be visible to other players. You can review Game Center sign-in and sharing choices in your device’s Settings. See Apple’s Game Center privacy information.
4. App Store purchases
Where available, Apple processes the optional non-consumable Remove Ads purchase. The app uses StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to verify ownership, restore purchases, and handle refunds or revocations. Tiny Matter does not receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide sales and financial reports through its developer services. See Apple’s App Store privacy information.
5. Advertising, when enabled
The app includes Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform for advertising and consent choices. The current pre-release configuration keeps live ads disabled until valid production identifiers are configured. When enabled, advertising starts only after purchase entitlement is resolved, ads have not been removed, and Google’s consent process permits ad requests.
Google’s advertising services may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and performance information to deliver, secure, and measure ads. Processing depends on the SDK, regional choices, and ad configuration. This is separate from your locally saved Sudoku boards. The current app does not request Apple’s tracking authorization or access to the advertising identifier through an ATT permission prompt.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s iOS advertising data disclosure for provider details. Where required, consent is requested before the relevant advertising processing. If consent is not required, any processing still depends on applicable law and the ad configuration.
6. Your privacy choices
- Review Google’s consent form when it appears. If Google requires a privacy-options entry, Tiny Sudoku exposes it in Settings so you can revisit your choices.
- If available, the optional Remove Ads purchase stops the app’s advertising requests after verified ownership. It does not delete information already held by an advertising provider.
- Manage Game Center sign-in and sharing in your device’s Settings. You may decline Game Center and continue playing offline.
- To remove local game data, removing the app may delete its local storage. This also removes saved progress. Apple services and backups have separate controls and retention.
- Contact us for questions or applicable rights requests. For provider-held account data, Apple and Google also offer their own privacy controls.
7. Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue, and retain them only as needed for that purpose and applicable legal duties. Please do not send passwords or payment details. We do not add support contacts to a marketing mailing list.
8. Purposes, providers, and retention
Local game information supports the features you request. Purchase verification supports providing the purchased entitlement. Support correspondence is processed to answer requests, provide assistance, and meet legal obligations where applicable. Necessary hosting and security processing is based on operating a secure and stable website. Where applicable, the legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in support and security, legal obligations, and consent for processing that requires it.
Apple, Google, hosting, and email providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence under their applicable terms and transfer safeguards. Provider-controlled retention varies by service; their privacy notices and account controls explain those practices. Local game information remains until removed with the app’s data or otherwise deleted through device controls.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing, and complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. Contact us using the address above. We cannot retrieve local puzzle data from your device or delete provider-controlled account data ourselves.
10. This website and updates
The Tiny Sudoku pages use local images, fonts supplied by your device, and no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. OVHcloud may process technically necessary server logs for hosting and security. Visiting an external Apple or Google link opens a service governed by that provider’s policy. See the website privacy policy for hosting and contact details.
We will update this policy if the app, its services, or its data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
