Tiny Sudoku is preparing for its public App Store release. The instructions below describe the current app. Feature and purchase availability may depend on your version and region.
Getting started
Choose a difficulty from Home for a new puzzle, or open Daily to play a calendar challenge. Select a cell and then tap a number to enter an answer. Use Notes for pencil marks. The Learn tab contains 11 interactive lessons, from the rules to advanced techniques.
Stuck on a puzzle?
Open Hints for a visual explanation of your next move. Read through the steps before returning to the board. Pencil notes, candidate filling, and undo/redo are available during play. All difficulties, daily puzzles, lessons, and hints are free; mistakes never end your game.
Saved games and offline play
Your current board is saved automatically. Tap Continue on Home to return to it. Puzzle generation, daily challenges, lessons, and hints work offline.
Your puzzles, history, settings, and lesson progress are stored on the device. Game Center shares achievement and leaderboard progress separately; it does not sync puzzle saves. Deleting the app can remove local progress. If a save appears to be missing or you see a storage warning, contact support before reinstalling or deleting the app.
Remove Ads and restoring a purchase
If offered in your version, Remove Ads is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. It removes ads and does not unlock puzzles or hints. The App Store purchase screen shows the current local price. A purchase is available only when Apple makes the product available.
- Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
- Connect to the internet and open Tiny Sudoku → Settings → Restore purchases.
- If the purchase is pending, wait for Apple to approve it. If it still cannot be restored, contact support with the error text. Never send your password or payment-card details.
Apple handles payment and refunds. For a refund request, use Apple’s Report a Problem service.
Advertising choices
When ads are enabled in your version, Google’s consent form explains the choices available in your region. Settings shows a privacy-options control when Google requires one. The board, lessons, and hints do not require watching an ad. See the privacy policy and choices.
Game Center
When available, sign in through Apple’s Game Center to share supported leaderboard scores and achievement progress. Check your connection and your Game Center account in device Settings if rankings will not load. You can continue playing puzzles without connecting. Game Center is not a backup of your saved games.
Make it feel right
Settings includes four color themes, light/dark/system appearance, haptic preferences, and reduced-motion controls. The app supports Dynamic Type and VoiceOver cell labels. If something is difficult to read or use, tell us your device and accessibility settings so we can investigate.
